Our client, a well-established accountancy practice based in Luton, is seeking a Part-Time Practice Administrator to provide essential support to the wider team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy, client-focused environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 pro rata, depending on experience
Hours: Flexible part-time hours (20 hours per week, between 9am-5pm)

Key responsibilities:
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, telephone calls and post
Acting as a first point of contact for clients and third parties, including HMRC
Handling and coordinating client queries, referring matters to the appropriate team members where necessary
Assisting with billing, invoicing and credit control activities
Supporting client onboarding and offboarding processes, including engagement documentation and AML procedures
Managing Director and practice diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements
Carrying out company secretarial duties, including Companies House filings and maintaining statutory records
Coordinating the receipt and return of client records and documentation
Providing administrative support across the business
Assisting the payroll team when required
What the employer is looking for:
Previous administration experience, ideally gained within a professional services, finance or accountancy environment
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confident liaising with clients and external organisations
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
