Rennie Grove fundraising — A Question of Sport Charity Dinner

On Wednesday 13th of March the Red Door team made our way to Sopwell House to support Rennie Grove Hospice Care at their annual ‘A Question of Sport’ charity event!

We were there in full force with our purple sashes to support the evening of quizzing, eating and auctioning!

Hosted by Sky Sports presenter Geoff Shreeves, the evening offered a drinks reception and fabulous three-course dinner.

Attendees went up against each other using their sporting knowledge in an interactive quiz in a bid to win prizes, there was also a charity auction to bid on some fantastic items including ‘Design your very own piece of jewellery’ with a fabulous 0.4 carat diamond from Galio Jewellers with overnight stay at the Grove Hotel, Brew your own beer at Tring Brewery, Tickets to Wimbledon and tickets to the Liverpool Vs Spurs match — with all proceedings going towards raising vital funds to provide care and support for local patients with cancer and other life-limiting illness.

We had so much fun selling raffle tickets and handing out the prizes, and getting involved with all of the fun!

We may have had a cheeky glass of bubbles ourselves!

A fantastic total of £43,000 was raised for Rennie Grove Hospice.
