This month we spoke to Louise! She is a Director here at Red Door Recruitment, as well as being one of the founders! She started Red Door Recruitment 15 years ago, and has a passion for recruitment and the company!
What did you do before Red Door?
I worked for a large multi branch agency and an independent agency before setting up Red Door in 2007
What do you do at Red Door?
I manage the business along with my colleague Jo Baker.
What’s the best part of your job?
Working with a lovely team of people, great clients and candidates, the fact that no 2 days are the same!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
People may not always remember exactly what you said but they will always remember the way you made them feel
Top Candidate Tip?
Research the company you are interviewing for, turn up early, look great, maintain eye contact and ask at least 3 insightful questions about the job and the company

What’s your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
Meet up with friends and family
What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
Exercise! A walk around the lake is brilliant for clearing my mind.
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Keeping in touch by calling friends rather than just texting
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Salmon and asparagus or a delicious chicken salad!
