Administration Assistant | London | £26k-£29k
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join a well-established and reputable company based in Bloomsbury, Central London (WC1). Our client, experts in their field, are a modern and innovative professional services company.
The main duties for this position involve providing administrative support to partners and fee earners. The ideal candidate will be organised and pro-active, with strong IT skills and knowledge of administrative procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
· Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, CCH Central etc. to produce correspondence, invoices, documents, meeting notes and reports and maintain presentations, spreadsheets and databases.
· Completing template documents, forms and procedures in line with the firm’s requirements.
· Assign new clients with record identification numbers / codes; set up new clients on the practice management database, including producing all necessary forms, letters etc. and performing money laundering checks in accordance with the firms’ procedures.
· Establish schedules of partners / managers for billing preparation and manage the production of bills and covering letters.
· Answering and transferring calls, screening calls and handling enquiries.
· Support reception by covering routine absences and lunch breaks, answering and transferring telephone calls and taking messages, greeting visitors and notifying internal staff of their arrival, monitoring the meeting room bookings to ensure they are prepared for any meetings/conference calls and cleared promptly after use.
What the employer is looking for:
· Previous experience working in an administrative position, with good knowledge of administrative procedures.
· Computer literate, with strong skills in word processing and a good knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook and Word
· Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly both in person and when using the telephone and email.
· Polite manner and professional personal presentation and approach
· Well organised and methodical, with an ability to multitask and prioritise own workload to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
· Ability to check for accuracy and give attention to detail.
· Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
· Good team worker
