Junior IT Assistant | St Albans | Up to £28k

We are a recruiting for a Junior IT Assistant join a successful and growing company based in St Albans. Our client is one of the leading players in their field, they're a friendly, sociable company with a relaxed yet professional atmosphere.

•         Salary: Up to £28k depending on experience

•        Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm, there is also an early rota. Early shifts start at 7:30am - 4pm. 1-day WFH and 4 days in the office after training period

Key responsibilities:

·        Provide support to internal and external users

·        Prioritise and respond to tickets that come from multiple channels such as email, phone, chat and walk-ups

·        Communicating with customers to help them resolve any technical issues

·        Perform diagnostic and route cause analysis

·     Monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks, including installing, configuring, and patching computer hardware, operating systems and applications

What the employer is looking for:

·         No Service Desk/IT work experience required (entry level role)

·         Proactive attitude with a desire to help people

·         An enthusiasm to learn (technical and core skills)

·         A keen interest in computers and technology

·         Excellent written and communication skills

·         Good organisation and prioritising skills

·         Ability to take initiative and actively work to improve your skills and knowledge
