Customer Service Executive | St Albans | Up to £22k

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Executive to join our well established technology client, based in St Albans.

Your role will become pivotal as you provide a robust, cost effective and high quality service to both external and internal customers!

Key responsibilities

  • Liaison with customers, manufacturers, 3rd parties and partners including query resolution, via email and telephone

  • Maintaining good relationships with internal teams and customers to provide quick and efficient resolutions to complaints/issues

  • Scheduling of engineer activity and job bookings

  • Scheduling repairs on call logging software platforms

  • Handling important escalations when the Team Leader or manager are not available

  • Coordinating the return of defective warranty parts

  • Escalation of chargeable repairs - quotations

  • Arranging shipment of parts to engineers and direct to customer sites

  • Liaise with Purchasing for when parts need to be ordered as per calls/customer requirements

  • Responsible for running reports and analysis

  • Flag important customer requests within the business to uphold key relationships

What the employer is looking for:

  • At least 2 year’s customer service team experience

  • A natural problem solver!

  • Able to work independently, but also delegate tasks when required

  • Excellent computer skills including Excel

  • At least 2 years’ experience delivering support services

  • Able to meet strict deadlines and targets
