A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within a fast growing, fun and vibrant company based in Hemel Hempstead in modern open plan offices.

You will be joining a dynamic and rapidly expanding company and the role will develop as they grow and you will have the opportunity to progress your career.

This is an excellent opportunity to start in a role which you can make your own. You will be working with the Supply Chain Manager to assist with all purchasing and logistics and working with their suppliers and ensuring stock arrives on time and in good quality.

You will be given full training on all aspects of the role and have the opportunity to suggest change, make improvements and develop as the company grows and diversifies.

This role will suit candidates with a proven track record within purchasing and supply chain / logistics that are looking for a progressive opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop & maintain relationships with suppliers

  • Coordinating all product purchasing from order to completion

  • Chase up delivery dates & ensuring the timely completion of all orders

  • Responsible for all aspects related to logistics for purchase orders including organising paperwork, booking with shipping agents, monitoring & tracking all shipments and following up with any issues

  • Feedback to suppliers any issues with stock quality and quantities and ensure these are followed up

  • Implementing and improving a robust process that ensures all stages of purchasing are working smoothly

What the employer is looking for:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in purchasing and supply chain
