Purchasing Administrator | Hemel Hempstead | £18k-£22k
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within a fast growing, fun and vibrant company based in Hemel Hempstead in modern open plan offices.
You will be joining a dynamic and rapidly expanding company and the role will develop as they grow and you will have the opportunity to progress your career.
This is an excellent opportunity to start in a role which you can make your own. You will be working with the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to assist with all purchasing and working with their suppliers and ensuring stock arrives on time and in good quality.
You will be given full training on all aspects of the role, have the opportunity to suggest change, make improvements and develop as the company grows and diversifies.
This role will suit candidates with a proven track record within purchasing and supply chain that are looking for a progressive opportunity. Candidates at entry level looking to start their career within purchasing will also be considered.
Develop relationships with suppliers
To obtain pricing and delivery dates from suppliers and to communicate the information to relevant parties
Raising PO’s & emailing to suppliers
Chase up delivery dates
Collate all delivery notes & update
Feedback to suppliers any issues with stock quality and quantities and ensure
Work closely with the finance department
What the employer is looking for:
2-3 years purchasing experience but candidates at entry level who want to start their career within purchasing and supply chain will be considered
