We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our lovely client, based in Luton.

You will be joining a busy, lively department who are determined and genuinely passionate in delivering exceptional customer service. They are seeking someone who is like-minded and enjoys working in a fast-paced role with the ability to manage multiple requirements with a confident approach.

Key responsibilities:

  • Web and mail order fulfilment – including taking payment or orders over the phone

  • Collating of all web orders placed

  • Checking payments and orders, ensuring any fraudulent activity is dealt with appropriately

  • Despatch of all orders within required time frame of 3-5 working days maximum

  • Liaison with web team to ensure that trends/customer comments/buying trends are fed back

  • Monitoring live chat as necessary

  • Assist with all customer queries from order enquiries, faulty goods, returns, complaints, info and personal shopping

  • Resolving all queries in appropriate time frame to a satisfactory result for customer and company

  • Administration of customer returns, refunds, exchange or replacement

  • Collating information and reporting monthly figures

What the employer is looking for:

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Comfortable in upselling or suggesting other products when speaking with customers

  • Minimum GCSE education, with grade C or above in Maths and English

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Confident, open minded and not afraid to share your vision or challenge others

  • Passionate and driven in order to exhibit high levels of customer service whilst also up-selling

  • Team focused – able to be flexible and adaptable to change

  • A logical and meticulous working style is essential in order to stay organised and identify errors or ways to improve

  • Great attention to detail

  • Positive attitude
