We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our fantastic client, based in Luton.

Joining their busy, dynamic Product Development Team and reporting to the Junior Buyer, your strong administration skills will be utilised in supporting the Buying and Product Development Team in the vital admin processes needed to take their range of products from creation to real life.

They are seeking someone who has a genuine interest in products, and enjoys working in a fast-paced role with the ability to manage multiple requirements with a confident approach. Your organisational wizardry will bring order to a fast paced, constantly moving department!

Key responsibilities:

Buying Admin:

  • Creation of all products on the in-house system

  • Creation of all orders accurately

  • Ensure timelines are met, from samples and product creation to processing of orders

  • Set up and create product paperwork and purchase orders on our inventory management system

  • Monitor progress of orders

  • Create make-sheets, costs and margin sheets

  • Create specifications sheets for products

  • Track sample orders and update department accordingly

  • Run end of month reports (open sales & purchase orders)

  • Ensure showroom looks amazing for meetings

  • Prepare product for management review meetings

Wholesale Account Admin:

  • Oversee progress of all orders with both supplier and wholesale accounts to ensure all deadlines are met

  • Document key collections through cost and margins sheets and buy plans

  • Create specification sheets for new products

  • Organise point of sale tickets

  • Input key data into spreadsheets in order to monitor sales performance

  • Ensure all details of orders received are correct

  • Ensure orders are booked and invoiced accurately, on time

  • Accurately raise all invoice orders on time

What the employer is looking for:

  • Strong administration skills – at least 2 years’ within a busy, fast-paced administration role

  • Passionate and genuinely interested in products

  • Naturally organised

  • A degree in a creative field would be desirable, but not essential

  • A meticulous individual who understands the importance of the finer details, ensuring crucial factors aren’t overlooked or missed

  • Level-headed and unflappable, even when the going gets tough
