Executive Assistant | St Albans | up to £35k
Salary of up to £35k, 35 hour week, 22 days plus bank holidays (rising in length of service), free parking, private healthcare on completion of probation period, salary exchange pension.
We are recruiting for an experienced EA to join a fantastic company based in central St Albans!
Our client are the largest independent operator within their field in the UK, managing over 900 sites.
Based at their large, modern, open plan head office, you will principally support the Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer, both professionally and personally. In addition, you will offer some support to the Chief Financial Officer and other senior staff, as required, in a fast-paced, professional, friendly environment.
Diary management – organise meetings and conference calls (internally and externally) and arrange meeting rooms, accordingly
Prepare Board Packs
Organise travel itineraries
Arrange company events (e.g. summer BBQ, Christmas party)
Manage the company car fleet – liaise with leasing companies and company car drivers, parking arrangements for head office staff etc
Coordinate signature of important documents and ensure safe return to relevant parties
Implement new systems, as required
Process expenses for the senior team
Arrange internal working lunches
Work alongside the HR department & provide administrative support, as required
Communicate internal messages to the business
Varied ad-hoc tasks to support the CEO and COO in the smooth running of their personal lives
Oversee the Office Manager in the efficient and smooth running of the office environment:
Planning and implementation of office systems
Office moves and structural layout changes
Ordering and provision of all office supplies and sundries - ensuring the most cost-effective arrangements
Ensuring smooth and efficient Costa machine provision/maintenance
H&S and Fire Safety arrangements
Managing parking and security access fobs
Office inductions for new joiners

Proven experience of working for and liaising with senior professionals, both internally and externally - essential
You must display confidence, representing the brand appropriately in all your communications
Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential - accuracy and attention to detail are key- together with a professional telephone manner
You must be comfortable multitasking and prioritising your own workload
Confidentiality is paramount
A full and clean manual driving license - driving is not a significant part of the role but there will be occasions when you need to drive company cars or run errands
What’s in it for you?
Salary of up to £35k, depending on experience
Holidays: 22 days plus bank holidays (increasing to 24 after 3 years’ service, and 25 after 5 years’ service)

Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours)
