This role is a pivotal part of the business and offers a varied and interesting role dealing with people at all levels. You will be assisting with the maintenance and monitoring of all aspects of the on-going Compliance activities ensuring all requirements are fulfilled, documented and communicated in a professional and supportive manner.
This role would suit a highly organised and detail orientated candidate with a background and understanding of compliance, process and procedures with an excellent attention to detail.
Work in collaboration with offices across the UK to enhance compliance awareness and support the development of procedures
Support with application, adoption and compliance to all relevant company policies
Administrate SAP Profiles and various Compliance training activities
Assist with ad-hoc internal audits, the completion of various Compliance spread sheets, check sheets and Business Unit risk assessments
Document, test and audit branch Internal Controls over Financial Reporting
Conduct nationwide Fixed Asset audits (requires overnight stay)
Help manage on-site Environmental Audits, maintain the companies ISO14001 accreditation and update documentation accordingly

Experience and understanding of Compliance and Business process controls
Internal audit experience - advantageous
IT Literate and competent user of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word &PowerPoint)
Analytical process documentation skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management, multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines set and motivate/monitor others
Excellent business sense, commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
