Account Manager | St Albans | £23k - £25k + £5k-£10k bonus

An established and successful business based in St Albans are looking for an Account Manager to join a friendly and lively team of 6. A company that believe in developing and training in order to get the best from their staff.

You will be looking after a portfolio of existing clients, renewing and negotiating contracts and looking for new opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contacting existing accounts to negotiate and renew contracts

  • Presenting and selling company products and services to new and existing clients

  • Develop and nurture key accounts

  • Preparing quotes, proposals and sales contracts

What the employer is looking for:

  • Previous experience within a telephone sales role

  • Experience within the Utilities industry would be advantageous

  • Self-motivated, flexible and open to change

  • Strong organisational and communication skills (telephone)

  • A natural communicator with excellent negotiation, persuasive, presentation and interpersonal skills at all levels

  • Highly driven with enthusiasm to meet sales targets and to cope under pressure

  • Trustworthy, professional and reliable when dealing with confidential information

  • Proficiency in computer skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
