Stock Control Operative | St Albans | £18k-£21k

We are currently recruiting a Stock Control operative, to join a friendly and well-established client base company in St Albans!

The company are market leaders in design, sourcing, marketing and distribution and have ability to offer a design to delivery service, working with key national retailers and several brands offering the full designed and development services.

The successful candidate will be great at juggling many different demands simultaneously and a natural organiser who can continually re-prioritise their own workload. They will have a responsible attitude with a proactive approach to their work and enjoy working in a busy and varied environment.

Please note the hours for this role are Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsibility forcarrying out constant cycle counts on stock

  • Running stock reports

  • Investigating stock issues

  • Authorise and oversee stock adjustments

  • Communicate issues with Stock Control Manager

  • Logging issues on database

  • Stock accuracy improvement procedures

What the employer is looking for:

  • At least 1-year stock cycle counts experience - this can be gained from any industry

  • Self-motivated

  • An understanding of how to investigate stock problems

  • Computer literate with good MS Excel

  • Reliable with ability to prioritise and remain focused

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience with Stock/Warehouse Management systems preferable
