We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join a fantastic international company, based in their spacious, beautiful offices on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead.

Working within an experienced and dedicated team of 5, you will drive new business opportunities and help to win work, leading in the proposals’ team design, sourcing for candidates who will be implementing the projects and selecting those involved in the delivery of an exciting portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team manager and proposal team to ensure that the highest quality team can be assembled for complex programmes

  • Work closely with the business’ technical experts to ensure that the highest quality calibre of candidates and experts are brought on board, to assist in ensuring the best are hired

  • Analyse the projects’ key outcomes and outputs in order to quickly respond and engage in terms of skills and personnel required for the associated teams

  • Build on the business’ extensive network and get "under the skin" of projects happening

  • Source appropriate team leaders and core staff through internal and external networks, industry events, the internal expert database and online media such as LinkedIn

  • Engage, develop and build relationships with consultants for both long and short term assignments across all priority areas

  • Lead and conduct interviews to assess necessary skills against project requirements

  • Lead in development/editing of candidate CVs and obtaining supporting documents

  • Follow up on reference checks on all selected candidates

  • Develop an understanding of country employment legislation and where appropriate, enforcing regulations with managers

What the employer is looking for:

  • At least 3 years’ relevant work experience, ideally as an Internal Recruiter or similar (client side)

  • Client focused with an attitude to maintain high standards and show a high aptitude for setting, managing and delivering against business expectations

  • Possess excellent keen eye for detail to ensure CVs and confirmation documents are correct against the high standards expected

  • An excellent command of the use of online platforms as sourcing tools

  • Previous experience of using recruitment systems/databases

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Excellent interviewing skills and some experience in salary negotiation and networking

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal clients and external candidates, both written and verbal

  • Ability to multitask, often with inflexible deadlines

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
