Business Development Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a corporate company within the IT industry – a business with a welcoming approach and who are continually growing and developing.

This role will see you supporting the sales teams to drive profitability across a renowned product portfolio, and developing and maintaining excellent relationships with the vendor.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develops and maintains excellent relationships with the vendor product team and sponsors their technology, commercial and product propositions internally and externally
•    Supports the sales teams with complex quotations and the application of Vendor commercial programs
•    Drives deal registrations, evaluates levels of success and implements measures to improve deal registration acceptance
•    Supports the Bid & Pre Sales teams with timely and accurate vendor technology and pricing information
•    Develops and drives lead generation activity
•    Promotes, executes and measures the performance of Vendor promotions and sales initiatives
•    Manages pipeline of opportunity and forecasting
•    Keeps up to date with market development, IT market trends and competitor landscape in aligned technology area
•    Works with  the marketing division to execute marketing plans
•    Drives sales activity to maximise rebate achievement

Person Specific:
•    Business Development or Account Management experience
•    Excellent relationship management skills
•    A strong and confident communicator
•    Product or vendor management experience
•    Analytical with experience of forecasting
•    Results driven and able to maximise sales
•    Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary: £30k to £45k depending on experience

Benefits: 22 days holiday, free parking, pension, bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
