Bid/Quotations Manager

St Albans, 45k-50k

Reporting directly into the founding team, the Bid, Quotations and Tenders Manager will be responsible for development and execution of the brand’s full bidding strategy and will act as the focal point within the brand, ensuring sales, design and leadership teams all operate with the same drive and direction.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Acting as a focal point in the brand, bringing together the design, sales and leadership teams
•    Format and compile bid documents and ensure relevant outputs are created and collated
•    Data management, on existing bid processes, stock management and post-bit analysis
•    Sole ownership of the bid/tender strategy for the business
•    P&L ownership for the bid/quotations function for the business
•    Submit the company’s proposal for client consideration (hard copy, email and/or portal upload)
•    Expedite the bid progress through sales and design teams, incorporating a detail orientated view point
•    Facilitate proposal information from internal and external sources
•    Initiate and arrange Bid and Proposal planning and review meetings
•    Implementation of all necessary bid procedures and processes

Person Specific:
•    At least 4-5 years experience of the bid/tender/quotation process, or strong sales administration
•    Strong project management skillset
•    An entrepreneurial mind set, with the ability to work within a new and expanding team
•    Ability to work to tight deadlines, co-ordinating tasks and individuals
•    Experience of standard contracting processes
•    Have a proven track record of winning bids/tenders

Salary: £45k-£50k with benefits including a Pension Scheme, 20 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm
