You’ll be managing all buying and expediting activities products in order to optimise cost, quality and on time delivery of component parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Administration of documentation and information,
•    Maintenance of purchasing and procurement related data SAP system
•    Resolution of invoicing issues and corrective actions
•    Coordinate purchases for new product material
•    Develop and manage supplier relationships to achieve the best outcomes including supplier visits
•    Manage the expediting function for current parts and assemblies
•    Expediting and rescheduling of supplier deliveries
•    Continuously monitor supplier delivery performance and take action where needed
•    Manage future projects/forecast orders to ensure on time delivery
•    Actively manage supplier cost base and supply agreements
•    Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure quality issues are addressed Support the Quality Team in setting up supplier quality and commercial reviews

Person Specific:
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in Buying/Purchasing role
•    Current SAP user
•    Manufacturing Background ideally
•    Driving Licence & prepared to travel if necessary

Salary: £25k

Benefits: 25 days holiday rising to 27, Pension contribution of 3%, company contrib 4-6%, bonus scheme, both company and personal, healthcare cover and free parking!
